Summary

Hidan (飛段, Hidan) is an S-rank missing-nin who defected from Yugakure and later joined the Akatsuki. There, he was partnered with Kakuzu, despite the two's somewhat mutual dislike of each other. He was also the second newest member of Akatsuki at the time of Tobi's introduction. Kisame Hoshigaki laughingly referred to Hidan and Kakuzu as the Zombie Combo (ゾンビコンビ, Zonbi Konbi).

Hidan

Speed Feats:

Blocks Asuma's surprise attack.

Hidan and Asuma are able to keep up with each other with CQC, but Hidan is able land a blow on Asuma and avoid Shikamaru's Shadow.

Escapes the Leaf Ninja with Body Flicker.

Avoids Shikamaru's Shadow.

Attacks Kakashi in mi-air as he tries to avoid Kakuzu.

Durability Feats:

Probably tanked being blasted at point blank by Matatabi.

Undisturbed by being stabbed through the torso.

Stabs himself with his scythe to stab Asuma.

No-sells an explosive tag blast.

Powers and Abilities:

After consuming the blood an enemy and then entering his ritual circle, any damage he takes is reflected back at his enemy.

Is immortal, so any damage he takes will simply not kill him.

Kills Asuma with his ritual.

Gear:

Has an extendable blade for stabbing himself to hurt his enemies.

Weaknesses:

If he cannot consume the blood of his enemy or is not in the ritual circle, his jutsu will not reflect damage.

Other Feats:

Defeated Matatabi off-screen. 

Defeated the Fire Temple monks off-screen.
